Biography:
Dumisile Nkosi is a highly motivated medical doctor from Malawi, trained with the University of Malawi College of Medicine, and is currently a master of vaccinology and drug development student at the University of Siena. She aims to become a clinical research leader in maternal and child health in Africa. She is particularly interested and passionate about clinical research to generate evidence to reduce the burden of infectious diseases in pregnant women and children in Malawi and within Africa. Recently, a Clinical Trial Coordinator for a clinical trial that is focusing on post-discharge malaria chemoprevention in under-five children admitted for severe anaemia and severe malaria in Malawi, Uganda and Kenya
