Biography:
Fisseha Shiferie completed his Master of Public Health (MPH) from the French School of International Public Health (École des Hautes Études en Santé Publique (EHESP)) in Paris, France and Master of Pharmacology (MPharm) from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Fisseha’s 15 years of work experience can be broadly split into managerial, researcher and academician positions in health system and health programs management in research organizations, international NGOs and GOs including higher academic institutions. Countries where he worked as an expatriate include France, South Sudan and Uganda. Fisseha’s key accomplishments range from developing health research proposals to successfully managing disease outbreaks. Currently, he is attending his PhD in Addis Ababa University. His dissertation is focused on the Ethiopian immunization system.
