Biography:
Dr. Liaqat Ali is serving as an Assistant Professor and Head Section of Microbiology and Immunology at National University of Medical Sciences. He earned his PhD in Molecular Biology as a DAAD Research Fellow from University of Freiburg, Germany as well as Post-Doc from the same University. Dr. Liaqat did his second Postdoc from QMUL, UK in the field of Immunotechnolgy.
He has won several national and international competitive research grants as PI and Co-PI from different funding agencies. His current research interests include Molecular Infection Biology, Immunotherapeutics and Vaccine Development. In a very short span of his career, he has published around 70 articles in leading peer reviewed journals, including The Lancet.
