Biography:
Dr. Aneesh E M is an Assistant Professor and DST SERB SIRE Fellow in the Department of Zoology at the University of Calicut, India. With over 14 years of teaching and research experience, he specializes in genetics, medical entomology, and vector-borne diseases, particularly Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD). Dr. Aneesh completed his SIRE postdoctoral work at Imperial College London and has led various funded research projects on tick diversity and vector control. He has published over 70 research articles and actively contributes to biodiversity and vector ecology forums. Dr. Aneesh holds multiple professional memberships and has received the UGC National Research Award and the SERB SIRE Fellowship.
