Biography:
Elena Hatalová, D.V.M., Ph.D. studied at the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, Slovakia, where she also received her Ph.D. in 2019. She currently works at the Department of Epidemiology, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University, Faculty of Medicine, in Košice, Slovakia as a researcher. Her research is focused mainly on molecular diagnostic and typing of bacterial and viral pathogens and parasites.
