Biography:
Dr. Torres Guerrero PhD graduated in 1991 at Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados IPN, México. After a 3-year postdoctoral fellowship at UCSF working with the research group of Dr. Jeffrey Edman Cryptoccocus neoformans, joined the Medicine Faculty at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México working with pathogenic fungi such as Sporothrix schenckii, Candida albicans and Naganishia diffluens.
