Biography:
Paula Moura Machado is a medical student at the School of Medicine of Petrópolis (UNIFASE/FMP). She served as a teaching assistant in Pharmacology for five academic terms and as Academic Director of the Internal Medicine League for two years, during which she also participated in the organization of two symposia held by the league. She has experience in scientific and community outreach activities, having participated in congresses, scientific weeks, and academic extension courses. She is the author of a paper presented at UNIFASE’s Scientific Week and has a publication in a chapter of Revista Pasteur addressing updates on the use of SGLT2 inhibitors in the context of heart failure.
