Ximenna Garcia Rivera

Biography:

Ximenna Garcia is a Master candidate in Biotechnology at Brown University, with an expected graduation in May 2027. Her thesis research in the Kurtis Lab focuses on the Plasmodium falciparum glutamic-acid-rich-protein (PfGARP) as an antimalarial drug target, characterizing the binding and mechanism of action. Ximenna will continue in research while preparing to apply to medical school.
