Biography:
Dr. Zinaida Zagdyn studied at the Pavlov State Medical Institute in Leningrad (St. Petersburg), Russia and graduated as MD in 1989, worked as a TB doctor in different level of health care system, beginning from primary health care to Federal Research Institute. She received her PhD in 2007, completed an internship in Public Health at Yale University (USA) in 2007-2008, then became the Doctor of Medical Science in 2021 at the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Phthisiopulmonology, since 2022 she is working as a leading research scientist in field of socially significant infectious diseases (TB, HIV, HIV/TB, HepS, B and other) and as a professor at the department of public health and health care of the N.A. Semashko National Research Institute of Public Health in Moscow, Russia. She has published more than 100 research articles in Russian and SCI(E) journals.)
