Biography:
Dr Shalini Pooransingh is a Public Health Physician with specialization in Public Health Medicine from the UK. She is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine, UK. She has worked in the National Health Service, UK, the World Health Organization and currently works at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, The University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago where she coordinates the Master in Public Health programme and teaches Public Health to medical students. Her research interests lie in communicable diseases and healthcare quality.
